Samsung's Plans for Smartwatch in 2024

In addition to the new Galaxy Ring, Samsung may target Apple Watch users with its next line of smartwatches. Samsung previewed the Galaxy Ring earlier this year when it unveiled the Galaxy S24 smartphone series. Of course, this has sparked rumors about what's to come and what the wearable might be like. But Samsung still makes smart watches as well. Rumor has it that 2024 could be the year the company wears out its wearables.

During the product cycle, we rely on leaks and hot mic heads to figure out what's available for purchase. from the shelves. Based on evidence circulating on the Android blogs, we may know what Samsung's smartwatch plans are this year. This could include the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, or "fan version" and a revamped design for its more expensive offering. We're also aiming for an updated look for the regular Galaxy Watch. The design gets a bit long during the third generation.

When to expect new Samsung smartwatches

Samsung usually updates its smartwatches in the summer (northern hemisphere) with a smartwatch launch. Ever since Samsung put the Note device out to pasture, the company has been updating its smartwatches alongside foldable devices. As Z Fold and Z Flip get new details, so do wearables.

The event will take place in 2024 almost a month earlier than expected, as Samsung looks to get ahead of the Paris Olympics for promotions.

Galaxy Watch 7

Will the Galaxy Watch stay round or flirt with a rectangular shape? The rumor mill thinks so. This gives rise to the idea that this release aims to transform iPhone users. However, the design rumor is unsubstantiated.

The most important change to the Galaxy Watch 7 is probably its interior. Samsung is updating the watch's processor, which is likely to be a bit more powerful -- maybe even some ideas from the OnePlus Watch 2 co-processor guide.

One of the more exciting pieces of information we've received about a smartwatch this year is the function the offers came directly from Samsung's press release. In February, Samsung proudly announced that the FDA had approved the sleep apnea function it created for the Galaxy Watch for US consumers. It has already been approved in South Korea. Samsung said the feature will come to select wearables in the "third quarter" of this year, when it is expected to unveil all new products.

Galaxy Watch "Pro"

The Galaxy Watch 7 "Pro" in the Apple Watch Ultra lineup. adheres to the standard model for all. This is an update for the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. According to the official Korean listing, it will come with a large battery of almost 600 mAh.

Samsung has apparently confirmed that the Galaxy Watch 7 will join a new premium model in its Q1 results. "For smart watches, MX Business strives to meet the demand for innovation by launching new premium models."

Galaxy Watch "Fan Edition"

Samsung has always made "special editions" of hardware for fans. The "Fan Editions," or FE, don't offer all the bells and whistles or aesthetics of Samsung's flagships.

The Galaxy Watch FE, or "Fan Edition," is undeniably similar to its smartphone predecessor. There is a cheaper way to get Galaxy Watch and Samsung Health. Its IMEI numbers were spotted earlier this year, but offered little on what features the fan version would include.
